Disclaimer
CASC In Hand is an independent enterprise. It has no direct affiliation with the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych). Our teaching, resources and feedback are based upon information readily available in the public domain, including but not limited to: UK clinical guidelines, textbooks, patient information leaflets, and publicly released information about the CASC examinations.
The CASC In Hand team are not consultant psychiatrists (nor CASC examiners). We are higher trainees, and we believe our recent experience of sitting the CASC gives us a good understanding of the examination, and it’s hurdles, from the trainees’ perspective.
Although we highly recommend including CASC In Hand as part of a candidates revision for the CASC and try to ensure a comprehensive teaching experience, this is not a substitute for independent revision. We strongly encourage candidates to use our course and teaching materials in conjunction with their own reading materials and resources.
Whilst we are proud to report a high pass rate in candidates who have attended our day course, we of course cannot guarantee a pass in the CASC. CASC In Hand cannot be held responsible for any perceived impact of the teaching or feedback on an individual’s CASC outcome.
