Our Story
A massive hello from Yath & Lisanne.
We are psychiatry registrars based in North London, who are only too familiar with the anxieties that can set in during the run-up to the CASC examinations.
After sitting the CASC, we started with an idea to run a few sessions for trainees sitting the online January 2021 examinations to address some of the most common challenges associated with the different station types and scenarios.
Our idea evolved into the CASC In Hand lecture series, which rapidly grew to have over 170 attendees, with both UK and international applicants.
Our amazing cohort of doctors not only surpassed the national and international CASC pass rates, but also 100% of them said they would recommend our course to anyone sitting the CASC!
Energised and inspired by this experience, we have continued to evolve and expand our course, and our team have most recently delivered courses for the September 2024 intake of trainees. We also have the privilege of teaching on the MRCPsych course in our local deanery.
